unethical.

As I was (extremely) bored today, I decided to lurk on Craigslist for awhile and see if I could find anything to buy that I don’t need.  I didn’t find anything of that sort.  But I did find this posting.

THREE LEGAL ETHICS PAPERS
I am looking for 3 rough drafts by Monday or early Tuesaday at the latest for a legal ethics class. I am really behind and know the subject matter but have know time to complete the research and writing. All three total are 6 pages double spaced. All do need a refence page in addition.

Now, there are several things wrong with this. The first is the misspelled words; I don’t no what a refence page is, but he needs it by Tuesaday. Secondly, this person doesn’t have time to write 3 two-page essays. How much research can you possibly do in order to write a double-spaced two-page essay? Or even for three of them? But the most pressing issue is the ethical one. Who decides they want someone else to write their ethics papers for them?! And once this mythical person decides this, can they, in fact, claim to “know the subject matter”?  I mean, maybe they know the subject matter, but it doesn’t look like they really know it.  I hope that this person fails their ethics class, because whether or not they have time to do the assignments, their personal ethics have clearly not been affected by taking a class on legal ethics.
