I have never known a world without you in it, without the possibility of another story, without the knowledge that you still have more to say, without being able to think of you sitting in a glorious church building composing nourishment for the child I wish I still was and the adult I hope to someday be.  My tears are both of deep sorrow and tremendous gratitude.  It will remain one of my lifelong regrets that I was never able to meet you face to face.  May the voice who whispered inspiration to you during your life, and proclaims to the universe now that you are a good and faithful servant, provide that you will not be forgotten through the words you left for us on the page and in the hearts of those who love you.
